| A lovely Saturday and a hazy sunny day at the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway Gala of Steam narrow 15"guage railway.
Most of their home fleet was in action and guest engines from the R.H.& D.R. ("Typhoon" & "Hurricane") and the Bure Valley Railway ("Wroxham Broad") plus "Sian" made for an very interesting gala with an extended timetable being used. A ride on the scenic route heading into the english lake district topped the event of me and made it well worth the visit. One not to be missed next year. Excellent ! |
